Google Ads API Setup
Welcome! I'll guide you through setting up Google Ads API access for your brain.
What you'll enable:

- • Access Google Ads skills - Unlock all Google Ads features in your brain
- • Build custom tools - Create your own Google Ads automation
Time Investment
Part 1 - API Setup: 45-60 minutes (one-time)
Part 2 - MCP Setup: 20 minutes (optional, after API)
You can take breaks and come back - your progress is saved automatically.
Prerequisites - Do I have what I need?
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- ✓ Google Ads account with admin access
- ✓ Google Cloud account (free tier is fine)
- ✓ Node.js installed (for testing)
- ✓ Terminal access (Terminal app, Cursor, etc.)
Don't worry if you're not technical - I'll provide exact commands to run and Claude can help you with any errors.
What will we create?
By the end of this setup, you'll have:
- • Google Cloud project with Google Ads API enabled
- • OAuth 2.0 credentials for API access
- • Developer token from your Google Ads account
- • ~/google-ads.yaml credentials file
- • (Optional) MCP server for Claude Code integration
All of these are free - Google doesn't charge for API access.
